Panama City Beach is made up of about 27 miles of sandbar beach break. During the late Fall, Winter and Spring we usually see most of our swell from Cold Fronts or a rare Low pressure system. In the Summer we can get swell generated by Tropical Systems in the Gulf of Mexico, but can also experience longer flat spells if there is no storm activity. Most visitors are often surprised by the surf that we do get, as most people tend to think that the Gulf is always flat as a lake. We will be adding a map of the few spots that we do have, please check back soon for more info. Enjoy these pics taken locally in Panama City Beach.
